Google Nexus One on it’s way
It was only a matter of time before most popular search engine Google hit the mobile phone market and boy have they done themselves proud.
Google have teamed up with HTC to provide their first mobile phone – The Google Nexus One! So is the Google Nexus One just another addition to the Android pack or is there something a little more special about it?
The Android 2.1 has a simpler interface to previous versions, but it has some very neat tricks to impressive even the hardest to impress, for example Speech control and Google Goggles for visual search.
The Nexus One might not look as stylish as for example the iPhone, but its aluminum casing feels reassuringly solid compared to other plastic handsets. The smoother outer edges make it sit comfortable in your hand, while the slim-line design allows it to sit safely in your pocket.
The Nexus has a slightly bigger display screen than the iPhone with over twice the number of pixels, making it extremely easy to read. Plus the 3.7 inch AMOLED display screen allows for a wonderfully bright screen!
Let’s have a look at the technical spec, the battery life last 7 hours for talk time and 250 hours for standby. You’ll find a 5.0-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, which means even though this is an impressive Android mobile phone, it also has multimedia features to match.
