Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest operating system to soon be released by Android. Google have said that this operating system will be a ‘one operating system everywhere’ version so that the operating system can run on both phones and tablets. This will be extremely useful for users of both devices.
Other exciting features of the new operating system include the updated App launcher, the multi-tasking panel and the new home screen widgets. For the tablet users of Android, the system will be able to act as a USB hub and allow for keyboards and mice to be connected to them. This is great for people on the go as it makes your tablet an even greater portable device but can still fit your needs with additional equipment. Ice Cream Sandwich will also include face detection, which is great for people who use their phones for taking photos. You will also be able to enjoy integrated Google+, messenger, Google Talk and Google Cloud services. What’s more, users of this operating system will be able to take panoramic pictures so they can capture amazing photos in one go.
These are just some of the new and exciting features that will be in Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), so keep your eye out for this and make the most of it.

How much would you spend on a mobile phone? With so many out there to choose from people always want upgrades and the very latest handsets. But would you pay a high price for a phone that would last forever? The Danish firm Aesir have created a mobile phone that never needs to be replaced. You’re probably wondering how that works? The phone’s been made out of surgical-grade steel to make it last longer and as Thomas Moller Jenson, the founder of Aesir said, there’s been a long tradition in Denmark to design and build things that last.
But if you want an ever-lasting handset it’s going to cost you. At a price of £5,200 the Yves Behar Aesir Copenhagen phone really is a treasure you’d want to last for a very long time! As a luxury item with an eye-catching exterior, it gets back to basics and doesn’t over-complicate things with cameras, games or other smartphone features – it’s simply a luxury, stylish handset for calls and texts.
The phone is available in either fine stainless steel with a ceramic top or 18 carat yellow gold. Which would you choose? Before you decide, keep in mind that the 18 carat gold version will cost you a little more at around $59,000 USD, if you want to add this to your Christmas shopping list!

Competition is ever increasing between Google and Facebook. When Google+ opened to the public it gained 10 million users in its first two days which shows how popular the new social networking site was, despite having Facebook as a big competitor. Google have now introduced an update for the Android Google+ App and refreshed the iOS version, both of which can be downloaded for free.
The new versions of the Google+ mobile App now supports Hangouts, which is a great feature that allows groups of friends to communicate with each other using the front facing cameras on their handsets. As well as this, the new version of the App also has a Messenger feature that lets users chat and attach photos within their chat threads. This makes sharing photos with friends much quicker as you can chat whilst showing off your latest holiday snaps. All in all, it looks like there’s some great improvements happening to Google+ which may well mean the number of users will increase.
